What We Believe at New Elim Church
God
There is one God who exists eternally in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (the Trinity).

God created everything and is actively involved in the world.
Jesus Christ
Jesus is God’s Son, fully God and fully human.

He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for humanity’s sins, rose from the dead, and will return again.
Holy Spirit
The Spirit is the third person of the Trinity — fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son.

He is not just a force or feeling, but a divine person who acts with will, mind, and emotion.

The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin and their need for Jesus.
When someone accepts Christ, the Spirit enters (indwells) that person immediately and permanently.

He gives believers a new spiritual life (this is what Jesus meant by being “born again”).
Holy Bible
The Bible is God’s Word, completely true, without error, and the final authority for faith and life.
Salvation
Salvation comes by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone, not by good works or church membership.

Once a person is truly saved, they are secure in their salvation forever.
